Overview
American Academic Prep, LLC is a small tutoring firm based in Santa Barbara, CA. They approached RDG with a mission: to create an identity that reflected their core values and mission statement, while also incorporating a modern twist on the classic academia-style logos of the past.
Design Notes
AAP’s slogan is “The key to your success.” We wanted to build off their slogan as well as their modern take on tutoring in general. We decided to use a rich, deep red and bold sans-serif fonts to highlight their vision for their company. We were inspired by the banners that many higher education institutions have been utilizing for centuries now, and adapted the banner design to suit AAP’s needs.
